Agendr is a calendar and to do list at agendr.uk, open by invitation. This page explains what it keeps about you, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who runs Agendr
Agendr is run by Jacob Morley in the United Kingdom, who is the controller of your personal data under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). If you have a question about your data, email jake@jacobmorley.co.uk.
What we keep
- Your name, email address and username.
- Your password, stored scrambled (hashed), so nobody, including us, can read it.
- What you put into Agendr: tasks and subtasks, calendar items with their times, notes, location, people, colour and reminders, and your week and day plans.
- Your settings: time zone, 12 or 24 hour clock, day start and end, theme and accent colour, and sidebar choices.
- Security records: failed sign in and sign up attempts are counted against a scrambled form of your IP address for 15 minutes, to stop password guessing.
- Our hosting company's standard web server logs (IP address, browser and the pages requested), kept for a limited time for security and to find faults.
There are no adverts, analytics or tracking tools in Agendr, and nothing is loaded from other companies' servers.
Why we keep it, and our lawful basis
- To provide Agendr (contract): signing you in, storing and showing your items and plans, and sending the emails you ask for, such as reminders and password resets.
- To keep it safe (legitimate interests): limiting repeated sign in attempts and keeping server logs.
We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who sees it
Only you. Your items and plans are private to your account and no other user can see them. We only look at your data if you ask us to, or if we must to keep the service working.
Emails and notifications
We email you only for reminders you set and for password resets you ask for. If you turn on browser notifications in Settings, reminders also appear on screen; these are shown by your own browser and are not sent through any other company.
Where it is kept, and service providers
Agendr runs on a server in London, United Kingdom, run by Krystal Hosting, which also sends our emails. Everything between your browser and the server is encrypted (HTTPS). Cloudflare provides the domain name service for agendr.uk, which points your browser at the server; it does not see your data. We only share data otherwise if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open. Anything you delete in Agendr is deleted at once. To close your account, email jake@jacobmorley.co.uk and we will delete your account and everything in it within one month. Security records expire after 15 minutes.
Children
Agendr is not meant for children under 13.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, ask us to limit how we use it, or ask for it in a common format to take elsewhere. Email jake@jacobmorley.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
